Choosing your zipper slider: When purchasing sliders, make sure you choose a #5 slider designed for coil zipper tape. You’ll also want to decide between a locking (auto-lock) slider, which stays in place when the pull is released, and a non-locking slider, which moves freely. Choose whichever is appropriate for your project.
