NATURAL WOOL SOCKS

These wool socks are a little bit magic: fun retro-inspired stripes, soft yet durable, and designed to keep little (and big!) feet warm and cozy on every adventure. I started sourcing these socks after many customers came to me looking for high-wool-content socks.

WHY WE LOVE THEM

• High-Wool Content – The sock body is made with 90% wool, naturally colored from the fleece itself, with polyester and spandex added for stretch, structure, and durability. An elastic component at the ankle helps the socks stay comfortably in place.

• Naturally Odor Resistant – Wool naturally wicks moisture and resists odors, helping keep feet feeling fresh through long days of wear. These socks retain some of the natural lanolin from the wool.

• Thick Without Bulk – A double-layer sole adds warmth and durability while still fitting comfortably inside everyday shoes. We find these socks still work well inside our barefoot shoes.

• Roomier Toe Box – Many customers, including barefoot shoe enthusiasts, find these socks more comfortable than other wool socks thanks to their generous fit through the toes.

• Naturally Breathable – Wool helps regulate temperature, making these socks warm in winter while remaining comfortable throughout the year.

MATERIALS

90% wool, 9% polyester, 1% spandex

The wool is not chemically treated to be superwash, making these a great choice for those looking for a high-wool-content sock without superwash treatment.

The small amount of synthetic fiber helps provide stretch, structure, and durability while allowing the sock to retain the warmth, breathability, and moisture-wicking properties of wool.

Whether you're hiking, working outdoors, playing outside, or relaxing by the fire, these socks are made to keep feet comfortable along the way.

WEAR & CARE

Because these socks contain a high percentage of natural wool, they benefit from a little extra care. Like all natural fibers, wool performs best when rotated between wears and protected from excessive friction.

For longest life:

• Hand wash or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
• Use an animal-fiber-specific detergent
• Avoid high heat
• Wear with slippers or shoes to reduce friction

With proper care, these socks can provide a wonderfully warm and comfortable experience for a long time.

SIZING

• If you are at the lower end of a size range, size down.
• If you are at the upper end of a range, stay in that size.
• If you are between sizes, size down unless you have particularly wide feet.

Example:
I wear a Euro 42 (US Women's 11) and typically wear the 40–42 socks. They have a little extra room without bunching. I can also comfortably wear the 37–39 for a closer fit.

Socks generally stretch 2–2.5" comfortably. You want the socks to be stretched on the foot for a good fit. The largest size stretches almost 4".
