NATURAL WOOL SOCKS

These wool socks are a little bit magic: naturally colored straight from the sheep, soft yet durable, and built to keep little (and big!) feet warm and cozy on every adventure. I started sourcing these socks after many customers came to me looking for high wool % socks.

WHY WE LOVE THEM

• 100% Natural Wool – Naturally colored from the fleece itself. The sock body is 100% wool, with minimal elastic thread at the ankle to help them stay up.

• Odor Resistant – Wool naturally wicks moisture and these stocks still contain lanolin, helping keep feet fresh.

• Thick Without Bulk – A double-layer sole adds warmth and durability while still fitting comfortably inside everyday shoes. We find these socks still fit well inside our barefoot shoes.

• Roomier Toe Box – Many customers, including barefoot shoe enthusiasts, find these socks more comfortable than other wool socks thanks to their generous fit through the toes.

• Naturally Breathable – Warm in winter, comfortable year-round.

MATERIALS

Aside from elastic thread braided into the top of the sock to help them stay up, no polyester or synthetic fibers are added. These socks are not chemically treated to be superwash, making them a great option for those seeking natural wool.

Whether you’re hiking, working outdoors, or relaxing by the fire, these socks will keep you comfortable along the way.

WEAR & CARE

These socks are all wool and thus will not last as long as polyester blend socks- but you'll have one heck of an enjoyable experience until they wear out. Like all natural fibers, wool performs best when rotated between wears. 

For longest life:

• Hand wash or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
• Use an animal-fiber-specific detergent
• Wear with slippers or shoes to reduce friction

With proper care, these socks last beautifully.

SIZING

• If you are at the lower end of a size range, size down.
• If you are at the upper end of a range, stay in that size.
• If you are between sizes, size down unless you have particularly wide feet.

Example:
I wear a Euro 42 (US Women’s 11) and typically wear the 40–42 socks. They have a little extra room without bunching. I can also comfortably wear the 37–39 for a closer fit.

Size 34–36 — 8”
Size 37–39 — 8.5”

Size 43–45 — 10.25”
Size 46–48 — 10.5” This size comfortably fits approximately a men’s US 11W through a men’s US 14 depending on preferred fit.
